Our story
Excel Personnel was founded in Colorado in 1992 by Frank and Jan Wagner, with a clear purpose: to forge genuine partnerships with clients in the talent acquisition space. Not just fill positions, but understand businesses, build trust, and deliver results that last.
For over three decades, that philosophy drove everything. The relationships Frank and Jan cultivated with Denver employers and job seekers became the foundation of everything Excel Personnel stands for today.
Logan Wagner joined the company in 2016, working across every function of the business before moving into business development. In 2020, he was named Vice President, and in June 2024, he officially took ownership, bringing Excel Personnel into its next chapter under his own leadership.
The name is the same. The commitment is the same. And the goal hasn't changed: to be the go-to resource in Denver for talent acquisition and the industries that depend on it.

Logan joined Excel Personnel in 2016 and worked across every function of the business before becoming Vice President in 2020. He took ownership in June 2024, continuing the family legacy his parents Frank and Jan built from the ground up in 1992.
